Highway Division

Responsibilities

The daily responsibilities of the Highway Division include brush-cutting, tree cutting, tree replacement, drain cleaning, litter pickup, signage, street paving, snow and ice removal, and equipment maintenance.

The Highway Division maintains 52 miles of roads and approximately 9 miles of sidewalk. The Highway Division is responsible for the improvement and maintenance of the Towns road, 22 miles of storm drainage system, and 23 miles of wastewater collection system.
